Het is weer die tijd van het jaar: Afstuderen!

Afgelopen donderdagavond hebben onze TWEE EN TWINTIG afgestudeerden hun eindejaars toneel laten zien: Midsummer Night's Dream.
In de aanloop naar deze datum hebben de kinderen er onvermoeibaar aan gewerkt en zelfs delen ervan gefilmd! Nu hebben we allemaal een blijvende herinnering aan deze kinderen, en ze waren erg trots om op te treden en hun werk te laten zien aan hun klasgenoten, ouders en de rest van hun gidsen in Casa.
Van deze kinderen hebben er 6 Casa bezocht sinds de dag dat wij Casa openden. We zijn zo blij dat we het voorrecht hebben gehad om ze van kleine kinderen te zien uitgroeien tot de fijne pre-teens die ze vandaag de dag zijn.

Onze kinderen maken ons erg trots. Natuurlijk kijken we altijd naar elk van hen afzonderlijk en nooit alleen naar de cijfers of testscores. Maar toen we hun gidsen vroegen om ons een overzicht te geven van waar deze kinderen naar de middelbare school gaan....
We zijn blij dat we het volgende kunnen delen:
VMBO-T/MAVO 2
HAVO 4
HAVO/VWO 7
VWO 9

Wij wensen hen alle mogelijke succes bij het verlaten van onze deuren vanmiddag om verder te gaan op de ingeslagen weg van het onderwijs!

En nu iets bijzonders:

We boden onze afgestudeerden de kans om een aantal vragen te beantwoorden.
Velen hebben ze beantwoord, en we willen ze graag met u delen.
De vragen werden geheel in het Engels gesteld en beantwoord!
Er zijn geen correcties/aanpassingen aangebracht in hun antwoorden (tenzij de antwoorden namen bevatten).

What does Casa mean to you? Everything

Advice for younger children at Casa? Be yourself and if you need help with something just ask someone!

What was your favourite moment at Casa? I don’t know just everything!

Are you looking forward to high school? And why/why not? Yes and no! Yes because I like to try something new! And no because I don’t wanna leave Casa.

Dreams for the future? Working with animals.

What was your favourite moment at Casa? The Lower Elementary

Are you looking forward to high school? And why/why not? Yes because the high school is different.

Dreams for the future? I want to work in the Netherlands team volleybal.

Advice for younger children at Casa? Try to work really much.

What was your favourite moment at Casa? The first day in the Upper Elementary.

Are you looking forward to high school? And why/why not? Yes because so I can try something new, and no because i don’t want to leave my friends.

Dreams for the future? I want to live in Amerika.

Advice for younger children at Casa? You get enough freedom but that doesn't mean you don’t have to work.

What was your favourite moment at Casa? The moments that your learning something new.

Are you looking forward to high school? And why/why not? Yes because My new school is almost the same as Casa.

Dreams for the future? That I make my high school till the end ,That I Can repeat my mothers work and that i just have a lucky life.

what I liked the most about Casa was: The freedom of choice, to do the things you like to do . and the possibility to work together with other (younger/older) kids.

What does Casa mean to You? I feel at home. A kitchen, just feels like home. Making my own choices, just like at home. 

Advice for younger children at Casa? Maybe concentrate more on their work, not chatting as much.

What was your favourite moment at Casa? When I just started at Casa, a lot of children were coming up to me, making friends was easy. That’s why I felt at home.

Are you looking forward to high school? And why/why not? No. I can’t imagine myself there.

Dreams for the future? I would like to have a nice family and become a journalist.

What does Casa mean to you? A school where people treat each other nice and learn a lot.

Advice for younger children at Casa? They need to be responsible about the freedom they get.

What was their favourite moment at Casa? Workweek (last year)

Are they looking forward to high school? And why/why not? Yes , because I’m looking forward to a new school and new friends. And no because I know I’m going to miss the kids and the teachers.

Dreams for the future? Become president of USA

What does Casa mean to you? A school. A place where you can learn, where you can do wat you want.

Advice for younger children at Casa? Stay at work, if you have questions, ask them.

What was your favourite moment at Casa? Grade 8 outing.

Are you looking forward to high school? And why/why not? Yes, because I can learn new things and other things.

Dreams for the future? That I have a house and an pet. And that my life will be nice (with animals).

 

what I liked the most about Casa was: That you can develop and use creativity. And animals.

What does Casa mean to you? I feel at home, especially this past year. 

Advice for younger children at Casa? I don’t know

What was your favourite moment at Casa? Bonte avond, at the workweek. 

Are you looking forward to high school? And why/why not? Yes , because I like to get more challenge in work and I like new things.

Dreams for the future? That I have a farm with animals.

 

what I liked the most about Casa was: The freedom and the teachers and the classrooms. 

What does Casa mean to them? A school with a lot of freedom. 

Advice for younger children at Casa? Don’t make a mess in school, other wise you will lose freedom.

What was their favourite moment at Casa? That’s hard, because there are so many.  The first workweek. 

Are they looking forward to high school? And why/why not? Yes, because I like to make a new fresh start. 

Dreams for the future? Something in fashion.

 

what I liked the most about Casa was: the science centre, especially the microscope. The first thing I looked in the microscope, I looked at a kidney.

What does Casa mean to them? A school: a place to learn and play with my friends.

Advice for younger children at Casa? Do your best 

What was their favourite moment at Casa? Last outing with grade 8, sleeping at school.

Are they looking forward to high school? And why/why not? Very much. To learn a lot more.

Dreams for the future? I would like to study  to become a doctor and become a professional soccerplayer.
