What do we offer?

Casa Academy offers no ready-made blueprints, but guidance based on deep practical experience, thoughtful vision and a solid organisational foundation. We share what we built ourselves: what worked, what didn’t – and most importantly, why.

Casa as a single entity: two foundations, one board, one management team and one administration. Although we believe this is an ideal organisational structure, we realise that many institutions still merge as two organisations into a childcare centre: childcare and school. Our experiences are applicable to all organisational structures.

Theme 1. Vision development

Every change starts with a clear vision. We help teams (re)formulate their mission, vision and ambition, inspired by our own development journey.

Theme 2. Organisation & structure

A good idea requires a solid structure. We share our experience in building an appropriate organisation, including governance, care-education cooperation, finances and systems.

Theme 3. Content knowledge about our pillars

1. From baby to bridge class: a continuous development from 4 months to 12 years old

Casa offers a continuous learning environment for children aged 4 months to 12 years, without any artificial divisions between childcare and education. Structure, familiar adults and a coherent pedagogical approach form the basis. We help organisations to achieve this continuity, taking into account legislation, inspection requirements and the needs of children and parents.

  • Group organisation and daily schedule per age group
  • Design of a pedagogical-didactic continuity plan
  • Team guidance and training per development phase
  • Practical tools: schedules, observation formats, examples of best practices
  • Knowledge sharing from Montessori and Casa practice

2. Bilingual education: natural and meaningful

Casa is bilingual from the youngest groups onwards. We help schools establish or strengthen a bilingual programme, focusing on:

  • Tailored language policy
  • Native and non-native language models
  • Organisation of bilingual moments
  • Embedding in the school’s daily rhythm

3. Flexible times and holidays: what CAN we do?

Casa offers education and care for 50 weeks a year. We show how to organise a continuous offer for children, parents and staff within the framework of laws and regulations:

  • Annual planning and teaching time
  • Communication with parents
  • Scheduling of staff
  • Pedagogical and practical implementation in quiet weeks

Theme 4. Quality in practice

How does vision become visible in everyday actions? We show how we work on continuous quality development, cooperation in teams, and a view of children’s development.

Theme 5. Pedagogic-didactic deepening

We offer modules and inspiration around the content of our pillars:

  • Montessori as a basis for education and care
  • Positive Discipline as a basic pedagogical attitude
  • Nutrition and food preparation as an integral part of learning (cooking with children)

Theme 6. Training for parents - Positive Discipline

Parents are indispensable partners in their children’s development. That is why Casa Academy also offers guidance aimed at parents. One of our regular products is the Positive Discipline training course for parents: a powerful approach that helps you set boundaries in a loving yet clear manner, strengthen connections and support your children in their independence and responsibility.

This training consists of six evenings of 2.5 hours each and is provided by certified trainers. The training is based on the book Positive Discipline, which has been translated into Dutch by Casa staff.

The training is offered at a fixed rate for groups of parents and is suitable for schools, childcare organisations or parent associations that want to establish a common pedagogical basis.

Theme 7. Expertise in change processes

Casa Academy has experienced professionals who can guide teams in change processes – for example, in a change of direction, reorientation or redesign of organisation and culture. We help teams choose a direction together, clarify roles and shape change sustainably.

Bespoke courses

For organisations with a specific demand, we design tailor-made guidance programmes. These can range from a vision creation process to long-term coaching in setting up a new school or site.

Network & inspiration

Casa Academy organises meetings, study days and network meetings in which we share knowledge, inspire each other and build on innovative education together.

Publications & tools

We make digital publications, formats, vision texts and practical examples available – directly applicable in one’s own context.
