Information Security and Privacy (ISP)
Information and IT are increasingly being used in education. Think, for example, of the pupil tracking system and all the software programs that pupils currently use in their lessons. Casa bilingual Montessori school considers it important to protect information properly and to handle personal data safely and responsibly. That is why we have all drawn up an ISP policy plan for the organization. In this plan, we indicate how we have arranged information security and privacy within the school and how we deal with any risks.
An important document is the privacy statement that can be found on the website. In this statement you can read what rights you have as a parent to access your child's or your own personal data and, in certain cases, to correct or delete them. In a number of cases, we will also ask your permission to process certain personal data. For example, if we use photos or videos of your child as a school, your consent is always required. When registering your child, we ask for your permission. This permission is valid as long as your child is in our school. If you wish to revoke your consent, you can do so by changing this in Flexkids on the page with your child's details. Before we use images, we always check Flexkids.
However, requests for permission do not apply to all personal data. We also process data to comply with our legal obligations. Think for example of OCW and the Tax and Customs Administration.

The school is also obliged to appoint a Data Protection Officer (FG). This officer will ensure that all privacy rules within the school are properly observed. This school year we are going to look at how we can best fill this position. You will receive further information about this.
